Cake Sizing: How much cake do I need?
Slices of cake served at parties or weddings are typically smaller than a slice of cake served at home. How much cake you need depends upon the size of your slices. If you are serving other desserts or treats in addition to cake, your guests will probably want smaller pieces.
Six inch, two layer cake serves 12-15 people
Nine inch, three layer cake serves up to 45 people
Concerned about cutting a large cake yourself? Have no fear! There is a simple, easy way to cut a large 9” cake so that it can serve 45 people. All you need is a large knife and a cutting board. We would be happy to show you upon cake delivery.
